This page is for administrators, programme coordinators, and employers who want a clearer picture of my background and what it's like to work with me.

Experience

I teach at BFEI Blackrock, where I have been since 2024. Prior to that I taught at Dublin College Dundrum (2023–24). Both have been QQI Level 5 and 6 programmes. My current position at BFEI includes AI & ML Foundations at Level 5 and 6.

My academic background is in Computer Science and Mathematics (McGill University), with more recent postgraduate work in Machine Learning and Intelligent Systems (TU Berlin) and Human Centred Artificial Intelligence (TU Dublin, Masters completed 2025).

Before moving into further education teaching, I worked in educational publishing — writing and editing curriculum-aligned content for Nelson and Paper, among others.

The consulting page has a fuller picture of the kinds of work I take on, including curriculum design, AI workshops for teaching staff, and content development.

Consultancy

I work with organisations on programming education, mathematics, and AI literacy — both as a consultant and through the consultancy I'm associated with. If you're an institution looking to improve outcomes in any of these areas, or thinking about how to build AI literacy into your staff development, the consulting page is the right place to start.

References

I have references from colleagues and students and am happy to discuss them. I don't publish them here, but if you'd like to speak with someone who has worked with me — as a colleague, a manager, or a student — please get in touch and I'll connect you.
